What special "tips" do you recommend?
- Always remove your sterling silver jewelry before applying skin creams, suntan lotion and swimming in chlorinated or salt water
- When working with products such as detergents, bleaches or ammonia, remove sterling silver jewelry as these products will cause discoloration and may loosen stones
- Do not use an ultrasonic cleaner or any chemical solution to clean turquoise, malachite, onyx or other stones as they are porous stones and may absorb the chemicals. Gently wipe the jewelry with a moist soft cloth
- When cleaning, do not use tissues or brushes such as toothbrushes as they will scratch the jewelry. This is especially important if you have stones set in the jewelry
